Clifton-Crick Sharp is an independent Chartered Certified accountancy practice based in Pershore.

Carol Draper

I graduated from Birmingham university with an English degree in 1987 and then worked for a major insurance company specialising in commercial and property claims.  In 2002 I decided to change direction and study to become an accountant.  I joined Clifton-Crick Sharp in 2003 and graduated as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2006.

I have a diverse range of clients a number of whom joined the practice either before or at the same time as me.  While accountancy deals with numbers and taxation the part I enjoy the most is meeting and helping so many different people and businesses.

Outside of work my main hobby is dance.  I am a trustee and treasurer of Pershore Riverside Centre, I volunteer for Inspiring the Future, a charity that helps young people prepare for the world of work and I contribute a monthly article offering business and taxation advice for the Pershore Times and its associated papers.

Karen Carlton

I’m CCS’s go-to girl.

I previously worked in engineering and joined CCS in 2010 for a new challenge. I’m MAAT qualified, a Payroll specialist  (Sage and Brightpay), Xero advisor, part-qualified accountant and I also support clients on QuickBooks and Sage. My job title varies daily – Payroll Manager, Office Manager, IT problem solver, VAT and CIS Specialist, Bookkeeper – no two days are the same

If you need help, call me!

Outside of work I enjoy archery, open-water swimming and reading.

Meinir Bird

Having graduated in Economics and Accounting from Aberystwyth university in 1989, I trained with Coopers & Lybrand ( now PriceWaterhouseCoopers) in the Business Services Department of their Gloucester office. I qualified as a chartered accountant in 1992.

I joined Clifton-Crick Sharp in 1994, which enabled me to carry on working while bringing up my 2 daughters. Over the last 30 years I have worked with a huge range of clients from individuals to large companies. Some of the clients I worked with when I first joined are still among my client base now and  I take pleasure from the fact we have such long-standing working relationships with many of our clients.

Over the years I have been the treasurer for numerous sporting clubs which I have been involved in, along with school PTA’s. Now, outside work, my interests are mainly outdoors – walking, cycling and swimming.

Ysabella Preston

I joined CCS straight from college where I studied my AAT and got AAT student of the year and 16-18 student of the year in 2016.  I now have a pro-advisor certification with QuickBooks and I am Xero certified.  I specialise in payroll using both Sage and Brightpay, and I am a qualified AAT bookkeeper.

I am always there to offer a friendly smile and a good service in reception.
